Role: To manage stakeholder relationships, work independently, and develop a good understanding of their own work area.
The role requires you to:
- Design, prepare and facilitate user workshops
- Capture requirements
- Develop process designs and maps
- Identify ways of improving processes, through workshops with subject matter experts
- Work with systems integrators and software developers
- Working to an agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope.
- Identify and implement opportunities to analyse and optimise current processes.
- Apply a digital understanding to the work and identify and implement solutions.
- Work innovatively and use the most appropriate tools and methods.
- Identify issues and risks and able to analyse and report test activities and results.
Applicant knowledge, skills & experience required:
- Excellent verbal communication skills to confidentially and articulately present both on screen and in person to clients.
- Proven Business Analyst experience within the public sector
- A knowledge of business change, process change or technology
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- ITIL or IT service management knowledge
- Proven ability to apply process improvement methodology
- Experience working in fast-paced and demanding environments
- Hands-on & flexible approach to emerging requirements (“Can-do” attitude)
- Pragmatic approach to delivery
- Strong documentation ability allied to excellent written communication skills
Applicant education level required:
- Educated to degree level
- English GCSE min B grade or equivalent
Applicant location:
The role is predominantly home-based however we require candidates to be located within a commutable distance of London and the south of the UK to allow for reasonable travel time to the client site 2-3 times per month.
Pay: Up to £380 per day (plus discretionary quarterly bonus)
Other: 6 month contract or fixed term with the possibility of becoming permanent.
